Résumé

Mzubanzi Mdunyelwa, is an Anglican Priest and co-author of a book called ISIVIVANE VOLUME 10 with 2 beautiful poems titled as follows 'The Cyclopean Eye of Africa' and 'The Sirius of Africa' which are about Reverend John Knox Bokwe, published in March 2023; and author of a book called MIRROR YOURSELF, published in May 2023. He was appointed to APPRISE Community, Engagement and Involvement for the National Institute for Health and Care Research in 2023.
He was born in 1978 in Baragwaneth Hospital, Johannesburg, the second of eight children. He grew up in lower Nqgungqu location, Mqanduli in the Eastern Cape, South Africa. He received his primary and senior education in his home village schools and matriculated at Bazindlovu Senior Secondary School. He completed his theological studies at the College of the Transfiguration and the University of Pretoria with BA Honours.
Growing up, he was an altar boy, lay preacher and choir member, and his sporting interest includes soccer and long jump. He grew up under the strictly Christian background and values of his parents, Reverend Kholisile Stanford and the late Nomathemba Cynthia, later joined by Nomasithembe Mdunyelwa. He is a grandson of Nkosi Dalilanga Victor Vuxwana Holomisa and his wife Hombakazi Nosam Mdunyelwa who were able to balance both African and Christian religions, which helped him to be able to live in harmony with people of different religions.
