The Greater Void is a strange place, a direct opposite to the very essence of life. Yet even in the vast emptiness between worlds, humans live and go about their daily business, despite being surrounded by the unnatural weirdness of the Void. Till Deadeye, the security chief of the Voidstation 304.8, hopes that his every day will be just a boring one, full of trade disputes, petty theft and, at most, a tiny bit of civil unrest.
Yet fate constantly pushes him into dealing with the powerful artifacts of unknown origins, unnamable things, and old gods from beyond the beginning of time. Cassilda Vex still vaguely remembers the time when she was just a lonely girl stuck on the ruins of the long-destroyed Universe with her parents. Yet, now she's a leader of the Voidwalkers, a shadowy figure in the Voidstation's underworld. All humans carry the piece of the Void inside them - a small piece, a fleeting feeling of the emptiness nested deep within their minds and souls.
But when the mysterious woman in red shows up, the barriers fall and everyone finds themselves on the threshold between the emptiness within and the Greater Void outside.
