But when his creator, Professor Gem, dies, a final, cryptic message sends him on a quest for the truth .
His journey into the "Untamed Earth" leads him to unlikely allies: Ven, a brilliant girl grappling with a dark, robotic past of her own ; Bootee, his robot guardian, who is secretly grappling with a 'flaw' that makes him feel... human ; and Mam Mam, a loyal husky-mechanimal who is the true key to the entire puzzle . Together, they must find the two halves of a single, mysterious coin . Their quest will uncover a lost fable, reveal the shocking truth of the "artificial heart" , and challenge everything they believe about what it means to be human.
In the end, their quest for the two cents will reveal a fortune they never saw coming.
