Résumé
This research presents a theoretical framework linking mass and rotation at the level of celestial bodies, with a particular focus on the Earth. The relationship between mass distribution and the axis of rotation is assumed to be a fundamental mechanism for the generation and maintenance of magnetic poles. The hypothesis is based on the idea that changes in the distribution of the Earth's mass-resulting from factors such as fluid motion in the mantle, polar ice melt, and planetary collisions-directly affect its rotational dynamics, leading to changes in its magnetic field.
This framework provides a unified physical explanation for phenomena such as magnetic pole shifts and periodic magnetic reversals. It also provides testable quantitative predictions about the effects of these changes on the magnetic field, providing a basis for testing the hypothesis experimentally through geophysical observations and historical data.
