There, she meets Kaer, a renegade memory thief who uses stolen symbols to reshape his reality. He promises to help Maia return home, but in exchange, she must help him find the legendary Original Symbol, a symbol said to grant control over time itself-and the ability to rewrite the past. As Maya delves deeper into the mysteries of Giltara, she begins to question the truth behind the symbols, Kaer's motives, and even her own forgotten past.
But the more she learns, the more the line between memory and reality blurs, until she's forced to make a decision: Will she escape Giltara, or will she remain a part of it forever?
