Résumé
The Suns of Twilight Vengeance308 pagesHow, in a company that is unique in the world, can one go from the shadows to the spotlight, then to congratulations and applause, and finally back into the shadows of a closet ? In other words, can an employee who is passionate about the company that employs them fall in love with it, or become too dependent and "hooked"?This question seems strange in the third millennium, when few people are truly happy and fulfilled in their employment, their job, their role, and their salary-in other words, in the company that feeds them.
Pressure at work has been mounting since the end of the 20th century, and the meticulous management and monitoring of all our tasks has destroyed the joy of working. Working conditions have seriously deteriorated, sometimes becoming alienating and often underpaid, pushing people to burnout, even suicide, and, in the best cases, resignation. If falling in love makes you blind, you can obviously fall in love with your company, but it still has to be original, exceptional, radiant, atypical, even unique in the world as a social phenomenon.
This is the case in this novel, which gives us a better understanding of how and why the young ingenuous man really fell into this trap. This sea of calm and cloudless happiness, these festive and warm evenings, will slowly be overshadowed by shocks powerful enough to wake him from his torpor and its hold, as one might be in a cult. This novel deals with these topics, but from a highly original, exotic, and inspiring literary perspective, rich in rhythmic journeys and diverse pleasures.
But in the end, won't this daily bewilderment lead to the same results as in a mundane, more conventional company? Indeed, the main character falls under the spell of this company he dreamed of as a teenager and which also inspires many customers. How is this possible and what is its secret? Even in the tropics, an idyllic setting can collapse. Even when surrounded by people, one can feel very alone.
Even in the midst of general joy, cracks can appear. But how will this hero react? Hero may seem like an exaggerated term. Yet many employees, without knowing it, are everyday heroes in their companies, fighting against all odds, against adversity, against manipulation and dirty tricks, and sometimes against their boss.
