Résumé

Soter the Light Horse has finally broken the Curse of Evil on the world of Equus, fulfilling the ancient Prophecy. But the war between good and evil is far from over. Despite his defeat, Abaddon the Dark Horse will use all his power to seek his revenge by destroying the mortal equines.?Meanwhile, Stone, Lightning, and the rest of Soter's faithful apprentices begin their own mission to recruit mustangs and other equines to join Soter's Herd.
But such a task is not going to be easy, for there are still enemies seeking to trample out Soter's memory forever. Among them is Wolf, King Wildfire's ruthless deputy, who carries out orders in hunting down anyone who dares speak Soter's name. If they are to survive the challenges ahead, Stone and his friends must stand firm and persevere.
Lavay Byrd is an independent author of fantasy, including her "radically equine" children's adventure series "Light Horse Dark Horse", and her current teen/young adult series "The Aethon Chronicles". Born and raised in Germany, she has been writing stories for as long as she can remember, influenced by her lifelong passion for horses and her faith in Jesus. From a 9th grade English extra-credit project inspired by a Christian equine allegory, Lavay composed her debut book, The Miraculous Birth, the first book of "Light Horse Dark Horse" at the tender age of 14.
In 2013, a NaNoWriMo project of more than 50, 000 words led her to the unexpected creation of "The Aethon Chronicles". Today, she lives in Georgia with her family, exploring fictional worlds, working at a dream job at a library, studying at college, and holding on to her life-long dream of having her own horse.
