The Shadow on Ravenswood Hall

When Thomas Ashworth receives a letter from an old Oxford friend - delivered by hand, with no postmark, and signed with a single word of fear - he boards the five o'clock train to Wiltshire without telling a soul. By the time he arrives at Ravenswood Hall, Edmund Ravenswood is already dressed for the dinner at which he promised to reveal everything.
