Crispin de Tocqueville brings us his misadventure and female-led fantasy, as one conceited and xenophobic Englishman finds an unwanted fate at the hands of his powerful Liberian domestic he finds is becoming more and more consensual. A female-led fantasy that asks the question: "Is it possible for a man to be so entranced by the natural scent of a woman - even a woman for whom he professes no attraction - that he will lose all his once proudly held if offensive beliefs in her presence?" Monsieur de Tocqueville is convinced this could be the case. And so is the African housekeeper, once she realises just how powerfully and inexplicably she affects the prideful and deluded Englishman who considers himself so far above her. Fantasy female-led fiction for the reader who enjoys the use of his/her imagination.
