"The Salvation of Experience" explores some ancient and natural observances concerning True Freedom. Knowing them means seeing Civilization for what it truly is, and what it could be doing for us. If the term "True Freedom" sounds interesting but dull, it is due to the echo it leaves in the heart, an echo with no answer. These observances we already know deep in our bones. And so the freedom they may bring stands contemptible when we just read them into our lives.
That we believe our survival means ignoring this heartfelt knowledge... that is the great irony of our existence. But, when seeing past civil life the heart is answered, and freedom becomes natural. We must not, however, exclude our present understanding by this. Liberation requires it! And bravery is also needed, for real Salvation is the Experience of love for the world as it insists otherwise.
