Addison knew she was adopted. The Lau's were always abusing her and treating her like crap till she had enough. After they hosted a party for themselves on her sixteenth birthday, she decided enough was enough. She packed up and left, intending to run away and start a life of her own, but she is being watched. As she gets off the bus, she is confronted by three magical beings who call themselves The Salem Society.
They tell her she has a destiny deeply entwined in the magical world, and that her parents died to protect her so she could fulfill it. They offer to train her and help her reach her full magical potential, but someone else is lurking in the shadows. Addison can't escape her fate and must fight to the end if she wants to prevent evil from becoming immortal, but can she?
