Résumé
The Resurrection of al-Husayn: Before the Greater Resurrection is a theological exploration of the Raj?ah and the special return of Imam al-Husayn, peace be upon him, before the final Resurrection. This book does not retell Karbala as a closed historical tragedy, nor does it treat Ashura as a memory that belongs only to the past. It reads Karbala as an open file within sacred history: a wound that remained, a testimony that was not buried, and a blood that awaits its appointed unveiling.
Drawing upon the Qur'an and the transmitted teachings of the Ahl al-Bayt, peace be upon them, the book distinguishes between the Raj?ah and the Greater Resurrection, between the return of history for unveiling and the final raising toward Paradise or the Fire. At the center stands the narration that Imam al-Husayn, peace be upon him, undertakes the reckoning of the people before the Day of Resurrection.
The work follows the movement from Karbala to the Raj?ah, from the state of al-Qa'im to the Husayni phase, and from the witnessing blood to the final testimony of history. It is not a book of grief alone, but a map of meaning: why al-Husayn returns, why the blood remains a witness, and why history cannot reach its final disclosure until the truth of Karbala rises before the world.
