À propos des auteurs

Mary Nichols is the author of various articles, short stories, family sagas and well over thirty Mills & Boon historicals. She was also a member of the Romantic Novelists Association. Mary spent part of every day at her computer producing her novels and divided the rest of her time between reading, research, gardening, playing golf and, when it became necessary, housework! Mary passed away in Feb 2016 having written well over 100 books. Christine Merrill wanted to be a writer for as long as she can remember.
During a stint as a stay-at-home-mother, she decided it was time to "write that book." She could set her own hours and would never have to wear pantyhose to work! It was a slow start but she slogged onward and seven years later, she got the thrill of seeing her first book hit the bookstores. Christine lives in Wisconsin with her family. Visit her website at: www.christine-merrill.com Amanda McCabe wrote her first romance at sixteen - an historical epic starring her friends as the characters, written secretly during algebra class! She's never since used algebra, but her books have been nominated for many awards, including the RITA Award, Booksellers Best, National Readers Choice Award and the Holt Medallion.
In her spare time she loves taking dance classes and collecting travel souvenirs. Amanda lives in New Mexico. Email her at: amanda@ammandamccabe.com Gail Whitiker is the award winning author of 18 historical and contemporary novels. Her books have been distributed in over 28 countries and translated into almost as many languages, though she is still waiting to see one published in her native Welsh! She currently lives on the West Coast of Canada.

Her books have won Romance's highest honours: the RITA Award, the National Readers Choice Award, Holt Medallion, and Golden Heart. She lives in Virginia with her husband and three very ordinary house cats. Diane loves to hear from readers and friends.

She also loved to read and many years later graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature. After reading a romance by Kathleen Woodiwiss, Margaret took a course in popular fiction writing and through that, found Romance Writers of America.
Three years later, in 1991, she sold her first historical romance. And the rest, as they say, is history! Annie Burrows love of stories meant that when she was old enough to go to university, she chose English literature. She wasn't sure what she wanted to do beyond that, but one day, she began to wonder if all those daydreams that kept her mind occupied whilst carrying out mundane chores, would provide similar pleasure to other women.
She was right. and Annie hasn't looked back since. Readers can sign up to Annie's newsletter at www.annie-burrows.co.uk Mary Brendan was always a keen reader of historical romance, especially the Regency period. She also writes gritty sagas under a different pseudonym. She was born in north London, lived for a while in Suffolk, and is now back closer to her roots and her adult sons in a village in Hertfordshire.
When time permits, she relaxes by browsing junk shops, or by researching family history. Georgette Heyer novels formed Sophia James's reading tastes as a teenager. But her writing life only started when she was given a pile of Mills & Boons to read after she had had her wisdom teeth extracted! Filled with strong painkillers she imagined that she could pen one, too. Many drafts later Sophia thinks she has the perfect job writing for Harlequin Historical as well as taking art tours to Europe with her husband, who is a painter. Marguerite Kaye has written over fifty historical romances featuring feisty heroines and a strong sense of place and time.
She is also co-author with Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, of the Sunday Times bestseller, Her Heart for a Compass. They are currently working on their second book together. Marguerite lives in Argyll on the west coast of Scotland. When not writing, she loves to read, cook, garden, drink martinis, and sew, though rarely at the same time. Bronwyn Scott is the author of over 50 books. Her 2018 novella, "Dancing with the Duke's Heir" was a RITA finalist.
She loves history and is always looking forward to the next story. She also enjoys talking with other writers and readers about books they like and the writing process. Readers can visit her at her Facebook page at Bronwynwrites and at her blog at http://www.bronwynswriting.blogspot.com Laura Martin writes historical romances with an adventurous undercurrent. When not writing she spends her time working as a doctor in Cambridgeshire, where she lives with her husband.
In her spare moments Laura loves to lose herself ina book, and has been known to read from cover to cover in a single day when the story is particularly gripping. She also loves to travel-especially to visit historical sites and far-flung shores.
