Communication had been cut off, and so, the remaining Australians had no choice but to build a system of educational refuges across the country to replace the fallen society. Four years later, a lonesome boy residing at a refuge in the heart of Adelaide encounters a mysterious girl by his usual hangout.
They instantly hit it off, but once the boy starts to discover who his new friend really is, she takes him on a perilous quest to unravel a terrible plot that threatens to shatter the refuge system and humanity beyond repair.
