Kyle Hanson is faced with the prospect of losing more of his family to the spirit who hunts him, and does what he does best: he runs. But he has only one place to go: back to The Raventree Society, and more ghosts. When the show explores a forest protected by dead Civil War soldiers and a sinkhole inhabited by a violent child spirit, Kyle is forced to ask what types of risk he's willing to take, who he can to involve, and how Tyler's legacy will effect how he lives, or dies.
