Born in the Pacific Northwest, Shawn has been writing his whole life, for the most part. Shawn was recently published in two hard-cover books that disseminate different works of art, including short stories, art and poetry. Writing was always Shawn's fist love since the third grade, when he wrote a three-page paper (story) about his summer travels in a magical bathtub. Since then, Shawn has turned in high school short fiction papers for his older sister's English class, written a novella for his little brother's D&D character, as well as the afore mentioned short stories that were published into hard cover books.
After college, Shawn worked for a construction company as an engineer and foreman. While Shawn writes across the genres, erotic fiction is far and away his favorite category to delve into. All the emotions that are wrapped up in relationships once sex, or even more devious acts of carnal divulgences are introduced, make for intriguing situations the characters are required to navigate. Writing about myself in the third person is really weird, like the voice in my head is monologuing my own story, and it's not even Morgan Freeman, dammit.
Most of all, I hope you enjoy my stories. Like C. S. Lewis once referred to. "Every good lie is made far stronger by mixing in a little truth." So if you read my stories, sit down, have a cold drink, and enjoy, for: "If you are thirsty, a drink will certainly cure that; if you are not, a drink will certainly prevent that. Prevention is far greater than cure, so let's drink!"Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. John Berendt https://www.instagram.com/spark.y88/
