A failed investigation into an abusive and alcoholic police officer that is covered up brings Gary and Joe into the mix of a major case. This case is the last one in the series where everything is put to the test to get justice for Sherry. Sherry has suffered at the hands of an abusive partner named Nate who is a police officer and a serious alcoholic. After Sherry has suffered a horrific beating at the hands of her boyfriend, now she wants him in prison for what he's done to her.
The obstacles are for the taking as Gary and Joe have seen this as former police officers where police departments try to cover up wrongdoings and addictions. Will Gary and Joe solve their last case together? Time will tell.
