The Price of Feeling

In the near future, the world achieves complete happiness-at a terrible cost. The Evora chip, implanted in every citizen's brain, guarantees constant joy by erasing sadness, fear, and pain. But in doing so, it also erases passion, empathy, and the capacity for love. Lyra Vale, a young artist who secretly paints forbidden emotions, begins to notice the cracks in heaven. When a stranger throws her a symbol of rebellion-an open eye and a single word, "wake up"-she discovers a hidden resistance determined to reclaim true feelings.
When Lyra joins the revolution, she learns that reclaiming feelings means uncovering the essence of humanity. Alongside Kaede, the guilt-ridden engineer who previously helped create the chip, Lyra must decide if the world deserves freedom... even if that freedom brings suffering.
