The Path to Stardom

Marcus Leone is a typical schoolboy growing up in Chicago. He comes from a middle class family and his parents both work to make ends meet. He and his father have a very close bond, spending most of their free time together. Marcus is a very shy boy and only feels comfortable around his best friend, Zach, and his family. What sets him apart from other boys his age is his dream of becoming a famous dance star when he grows up.
He takes his dance lessons very seriously and has a strong passion for dance. His talent stands out above the others in the class and his dance instructor proclaims him her best student. On his path to stardom, tragedy strikes and shakes his world. He's forced to grow up too soon and his life is forever changed. The once happy boy is suddenly broken. Can a twelve year old boy pick up the pieces and continue to pursue his dream, or will he abandon his passion?
