Résumé

Beth and her mother set off to live in another town, making a fresh start from the rejection experienced after falling pregnant for the pastor's son. She finally gives birth to her bouncing baby boy but fails to love him because of the constant reminder of betrayal she went through. Robin is happily married to his childhood friend or at least that is what he thinks until he uncovers his wife's secret when it's already late and she is gone.
He and Beth decide to enter into an arrangement to care for the children. Will the arrangement turn into a permanent one or the forces intending to separate their union will finally succeed as they realise this was all a bad idea and trust is understated?
