Résumé

Four Politicians were engaged in a fierce political contest for the Presidential ticket of a big and dominant political party in an African nation. Out of the four, only one politician was adjudged to be morally upright by his own political opponents. In spite of all the wicked devices and demonic arrows thrown at the only upright politician by his wicked opponents, he emerged the winner of the contest. The only upright politician is a fictional peep into the value preferences of a society perceived by many as degenerating in moral values.
This book uses political contest for power and position to illustrate the extent of moral degeneration in a potentially great nation stifled by a political system that seemingly deliberately marginalizes the morally upright in its leadership selection process. This book depicts an arguable exception where a politician judged as being upright in character and conduct by his own political enemies triumphs over his morally depraved opponents through righteousness and absolute trust in the Almighty God who rules over the affairs of men. This story is a story of the triumph of good over evil, light over darkness, righteousness over sin and wickedness.
