Résumé
A bundle of stars. A three-day deadline. One chance to be human. The Nowhere Girl is a middle grade novella about a child born from the cosmos. After an eternity of being nothing but loose thoughts and stardust, a wandering consciousness is granted a single wish: the chance to finally exist. Formed on Earth as a curious, nonverbal child who names herself "Kit, " she is given three days to answer one impossible question: Is being human worth it?Kit must navigate a world defined by physical limits, human ambivalence, and overwhelming emotions.
If she chooses to stay, she accepts a life of imperfection. If she refuses, she returns to a formless oblivion. Even when she struggles to communicate or falters under the weight of being perceived, Kit chooses to keep standing. Ultimately, she has to learn that her own will is the only thing stronger than the tricky cost of being human. She chooses to learn who she is. She chooses to find peace. She chooses to be Kit.
