The Noisy Tongues

The Noisy Tongues are an odd folk that tries to cause mischief and be loud. How do you scare them off? By making a specific sound! As you investigate these mysterious monsters, get kids to say the right sounds (or recognize someone made the wrong sound) whenever a member of the Noisy Tongues appears. These are interactive fairy tales. They are meant to be read by a parent or teacher to one or more children.
Every short story takes the next step in early language comprehension. The first story scares the "monsters" away with general sounds (like animal sounds), the next story requires specific words, then syllables, then phonemes, then the letters of the alphabet, and a final story to combine and mix them all. This book was one of the first ever written for the fun and educational stories of The Wayward Melody.
