After receiving his education from the Priests of the Egyptian Delta, Pythagoras returned to Greece and established a spiritual order known as the Mathematekoi. In the 'Narrow Gate', we will look at the ratio of Cube to Pyramid, and see if this shines light on why the Ancient Priesthoods of Egypt taught that mathematics was integral to spirituality. The term 'Narrow Gate' relates to Jesus propensity to assert the importance of the small over the large, the low over the high, and the narrow over the wide.
If according to Jesus, Humility is to be valued, then perhaps we should consider these 'lesser' things as more valuable than our current paradigms may suggest.
