THE MYSTERY OF THE SUITCASETwin brothers Tufty and Jonathan Lombardi are invited to Brazil by their uncle, Julio Lombardi, a well-known journalist who is working on a story for an international news agency. From the very beginning, it is clear that something is wrong. Uncle Julio does not meet them as arranged at São Paulo-Guarulhos International Airport in São Paulo, and when they arrive at the guesthouse, they discover that one of their suitcases has been exchanged for that of an M.
Dias-the same Mr. Dias who is shot dead from a moving car shortly after arriving from Johannesburg. Late that night, robbers attempt to break in through the boys' bedroom window. The twins suddenly realize that they themselves have become targets-and that the criminals will not hesitate to strike again. Izabel, the beautiful daughter of the guesthouse owner, begins to play an increasingly important role in the strange and sometimes terrifying events.
