Résumé

Christian Bacci isn't okay. Since the death of his wife and daughter, he barely eats and hardly lives, entombed in the silence of his family home. When his twin brother arrives to check on him, the depth of Chris's depression becomes undeniable - and he's given a choice. He can either help his physicist brother with a top-secret project.or be hospitalized. As an archaeologist, Chris doubts he'll be useful, but within hours he's on his way to Area 51 with no idea what's waiting for him.
It turns out his brother really does need his expertise. The scientists have accidentally created a window through time. The problem is, they don't know how they did it. The math isn't mathing, the science isn't scienceing, and their funding is running out. Chris has been recruited to find the lost city of Atlantis - a discovery they hope will generate enough public interest to save the project. But as Chris dives headlong into the past, he encounters a familiar face he never expected.
His growing compulsion to stay leads him to dangerous compromises, drawing the attention of something that shouldn't exist. especially not in the Pleistocene.
