The Brothers Grimm were famous for their fairy tales, and amongst their varied published works, were stories about strange humanoid type animal creatures. Those are called 'Wesen'. This graphic novel: 'The Mutator', is a modern day take on some of those characters, which portrays a brother, sister, and mother, all of whom are unwillingly embroiled in a subversive plot by an unscrupulous secret organisation called, 'The Cabal'.
Ozzy, his sister, Alison, and their mother, face terrible odds to not only survive, but to help overthrow the Cabal. The ancient order of the wesen council intercedes and helps to put down the uprising of the dissident wesens, and their human collaborators. Magical and strange mystical encounters, are what is in store for Ozzy, and his family members.
