He corresponds with a woman and falls in love with her but when Victoria arrives in town, the spark is simply not there. Instead, Victoria falls in love with another man and because Bridges is an honorable man, and even though he does not love Victoria, he plans on making good on his promise to marry her. Victoria asks for God's guidance to help sort everything out, but doesn't know if her revelations to her sister and the two men, will heal all past wounds, omissions, and misconceptions.
