The Missing Christmas Star

As Milly deciphers the Star's rhyming manual, Jane tracks its faint, flickering glow across the frozen tundra, and Peter's gadgets fail spectacularly, it is finally Sonia's cynical wisdom and deep understanding of human failure that points to the truth: the Star is suffering from chromatic exhaustion because the town has stopped celebrating Christmas with heart and started celebrating it with habit.
The team realizes they don't just need to find the Star-they need to convince a magical, runaway artifact that Hollybrooke still deserves its glow.
