The Missed Creations is a collection of horror stories that reimagines the genre through a deeply human perspective. Conceived in the 1980s and finally realized after decades of "slumbering" in the author's mind, these seven tales take the classic monsters of lore and place them under a more modern microscope. This collection contains two novellas and five short stories, each of which includes a Classic Monster type: mummies, Frankenstein-like monsters, werewolves, vampires, invisible men, ghosts, or zombies.
Although horror stories, none of these tales are particularly horrific, gory, or even frightening. They are instead human stories, sometimes sad, heroic, mean, defiant, crazy, even laughable. These stories wanted to be written but they would prefer to be read.
