Résumé

How many Oz movies do you think there are? Like three, right? Ha! There are dozens, and if you include cartoon specials that number may swell into the hundreds. It's easy to forget now, especially since you probably weren't alive then, but The Wonderful Wizard of Oz really was the Star Wars of its day, pummeled into everyone's old-timey consciousness the way BB-8, Chewbacca Mom, and hating the Prequels have been pummeled into ours.
Now Mr. Satanism, the only straight guy with the patience to watch them all, presents some of the weirdest, wildest, and worst Oz has to offer in his newest film guide. This guide is NOT for the faint of heart though. If you thought 1985's Return to Oz was a little too "rough" then this isn't the book for you. But if you're fascinated by the limitless re-purposing of the Oz mythos in everything from Japanese cartoons to pulp adventure novels to pornography, then this is the road map you've been waiting for.
Like that analogy? A film guide as a road map? I just thought of that, just now.
