Résumé

Once every month, an unmanned silver train rolls through the city on tracks no map remembers. It never stops for long, and it never leaves the same way it arrived. When investigator Cole Donovan boards the train to search for a passenger who vanished on its last run, he expects a routine disappearance. What he finds instead is a train where clocks bend backward, where doors lead to rooms that shouldn't exist, and where every passenger who steps aboard begins to lose pieces of themselves - memories, minutes, sometimes years.
Guided by the enigmatic Rebecca Holloway, a woman who has ridden the train before and lived to regret it, and shadowed by the unsettling railway worker Nathan Graves, who seems to know far more than he admits, Cole must uncover the truth behind the train's monthly ritual before the hands of its clocks steal him for good. As the city outside grows more distant with every passing car, Cole realizes the train isn't simply traveling through space - it's traveling through something far older, far hungrier, and far harder to escape.
Connor Hayes CH writes horror and paranormal fiction that lingers in quiet, ordinary places - abandoned platforms, empty rooms, the moments right before midnight. Drawn to stories where time itself becomes the monster, Connor explores what people are willing to risk for someone they love, and what gets left behind when they do.
