Ling Feng was expelled because his uncle Ling Huaiyuan falsely accused him of poisoning his grandfather. When he was dying, the Longyuan Sword recognized him as its master and awakened the ancient bloodline. He met the saint Lan Dieyi in Miaojiang by chance and learned that the "Nine Dragon Cauldron" guarded by the family was actually a mechanism to suppress the dragon veins, and Ling Huaiyuan was colluding with foreign enemies to break the cauldron and rebel.
