Résumé
Born with a higher level of awareness, a little boy finds it difficult to fit into a form of humanity that cannot be recognized by a bicameral because of the existence of greed, deceivement, resentment, suppressive rules and regulations, and a pre-created comfort zone that society has come accustomed to living. Because he has been accused of being involved with supernatural phenomenons, some say he is a blessed child, some a special child, some say he is gifted, some say he is possibly a divine messenger, yet some are frightened.
Because others see him as strange or different, an appointment is forced on him to visit a child psychologist and a paranormal psychiatrist-interesting how that turns out. The local pastor believes Gabriel is possessed by an evil entity that is out to destroy him and his religious structure. When the issue of Gabriel is brought up with the highest hierarchy of that united church organization, he feels something must be done for the sake of the establishment. Eight year old Lewis Crupps Junior has conflicts in his young mind.
He has to listen to his bickering, cursing parents that is driving him from his sanity. He hears not only his lawyer father talk about punishing others and doing away with unfit society dwellers, but also has listened to the local pastor on how evil must be rooted out and punished for its wicked ways. Lewis Junior often wonders why he isn't punished for his wicked ways. The local doctor finds himself caught up in complaining about having to put up with the crying, bellyaching public, wants more time for himself-he just might get it. The assistant police chief and a covetous attorney are on the betraying end of a scheme. A top Reverend, the governor and a congressman devise a plan to persuade public opinion to their favor. Ole Mother Nature is just watching, listening and waiting, as volcanoes around the world are becoming more active for no apparent reason that science can explain. So who will prevail in the end? Humanity? The bicameral mind? The pre-created society comfort zone?
