The Last Prime

In the city of Calcula, everything is ordered, predictable, and governed by the strict Council of Integers. Twelve-year-old Rye is a "Remainder, " a kid who doesn't fit neatly into any mathematical category-until he accidentally discovers a forbidden portal to the Irrational Wilderness, a chaotic, beautiful world of never-ending patterns, fractals, and rogue numbers that the Council has spent centuries trying to erase.
When the Council sends the perfect, coldly logical Division Squad to capture Rye and seal the Wilderness forever, he must team up with a sassy, shape-shifting fractal named Poly and a forgetful, kind-hearted infinite decimal named Pi. Together, they must find the legendary Last Prime Number, a mythical key that can either unite the two worlds or doom them both to a boring, static existence. The story turns math into a battle between rigid order and beautiful, creative chaos.
