When music journalist Elena Vassos is sent to write the obituary of Luca Ferretti - once the most celebrated pianist in Europe - she can't verify a single detail of his death. Following a trail of instinct to Hydra, a small Greek island with no cars and no crowds, she finds him very much alive: older, quieter, and writing music no one has asked for in a crumbling villa above the sea. Ferretti walked away from the concert stage six years ago - no explanation, no farewell.
