The Last Gun

After too many years serving as a lawman in Dodge City, Kansas, watching his son die during a bank robbery and his wife succumb to cancer, Ben Hull decided it was time to hang up his badge and spend the remainder of his years with his daughter, Addie and her family. Gideon Hogue was a wealthy rancher who would stop at nothing, including killing, to get what he wanted most-more land. Addie Anderson lived on a small ranch on the Big Teton Range in the Idaho Territory.
Her husband left for the war, never to return, leaving his wife and children to carry on alone. All seemed lost, until her long-lost, newly-retired pa showed up out of the blue. Ben may have been worried he'd be a burden to his daughter, but Addie saw his coming as a saving grace. Gideon Hogue tried everything to get Mrs. Anderson to sell, and when that didn't work, he hired gunmen to scare her off.
Unfortunately for him, he was about to find out that he'd chosen the wrong ranch to take over. Even though he'd promised his beloved wife he'd steer clear of violence, Ben Hull quickly realized that in order to save his daughter, grandchildren and their home, he'd have to do what he had done best as a lawman and serve up his own brand of justice to Gideon Hogue.
