When Marc (Big Daddy) Brown takes leave from the Denver Broncos to visit his ill father, he has no idea of the life changing events to follow. Andy Brown discovers he can not return to his job of Sheriff as soon as expected. He asks his son to fill in while tests are being run. Another body is found, but this time it is the son of his two best friends. This angers him and makes him more determined to find the monster doing this. More people are killed and his is no closer to the murderer. As hi is spiraling toward depression, salvation is found in the arms of his college sweetheart.
