Résumé

The Reaping is over, so New Hope has once again learned a painful lesson. Everything should quietly return to normal -the defeated and half-destroyed town can now lick its wounds and eventually rebuild its shattered civilization back to the peaceful population it had once been. There shouldn't be any more interventions from Hell until future generations forget what happened or completely ignore the warnings from past victims.
That's the way it's always happened for nobody knows how long. But Jacob Miller has miraculously survived the lashing that was meant to kill him. Of course, nobody can blame him for not wanting to live a shunned life of isolation in New Hope, especially after his mother was brutally murdered by a heartless Demon, and the love of his life was apparently dragged back to Hell by the Devil Himself. But will the journey to Hell be a suicide mission, or can he somehow rescue Sarah and finally find the answers to all the questions that have dogged him his whole life? Or perhaps, finding the answers to those questions could completely unravel the threads of Eden's existence.
