We are usually attracted to someone for the same reasons they can drive us nuts later - because they are different than us. It's exciting when we can step into their world and live a little differently than normal; we get to experience how the "other half" lives this way. Together, introverts and extroverts complete a balance that otherwise they wouldn't have. Move out of comfort zones - When you are opposites, to be happy, you must compromise on activities and a myriad of other things.
This truth nudges us out of our comfort zones from time to time so that we can grow as people and more balanced people at that. It's completely natural for an introvert to be attracted to an extrovert and visa verse. It's nature's way of completing a balanced and dynamic union. But that doesn't always make it easy.
