The Hungry Bowl - Fill Every Empty Bowl with Food

Poverty is not chosen by anybody in life. No one chooses to be poor, to be hungry, to be unemployed, to be lonely, to be homeless and to be frowned upon. Millions of individuals knock on the door to poverty, when they lose the securities of life, like their good health, employment, families, homes and they are forced to enter the breadline. I visualize the empty bowl as a symbol of poverty, when a person, is compelled to ask for food, to fill the empty bowl, that they use to beg, as well as to fill the pit in their stomachs.
There is an emptiness in the hearts of many people who have sufficient incomes, lead comfortable lives and have gainful employment, yet look down upon those less fortunate in society. An empty bowl is a hungry bowl and the holder of such a bowl, needs food and sustenance in life. Fill the empty and hungry bowl that you hold within you, that does not contain the emotions of charity, love, and empathy for those less fortunate.
We are all guilty of ignoring the hungry poor at some point in our lives. Make it your mission in life to fill every empty hungry bowl with food, till the day arrives when no bowl is empty, everyone is fed and society takes care of all individuals who are less fortunate, in the world.
