War has come to Marrowmont. The fallout from the breach of the shield network - word spreading underground and on fringe forums of the city's existence - has brought Hunters seeking trophies, and the eradication of the city. But theirs is not the only danger facing Marrowmont: for centuries the Vatican has turned a blind eye to the city's existence. But now, fearful of being seen as connected to a city of "monsters, " they send their own emissaries to correct that mistake: marriages of mortal tech and stolen divine blood, the Vatican Angels, too, are coming to cleanse the city.
