Shamael means the presence of God and that is why it is so connected to the Menorah, to the lighting of candles or oil lamps, but also to meditation, because in meditation we connect with the holy spirit, Ruach Kadosh, through our Ruach, our spirit, which is just an extension of the divine spirit. He is the breath that the Creator placed in Adam, the breath is the spirit, it is God himself, that's why it is written that we are the image and likeness of God, not by our mortal and rotten flesh but by the breath, by the Ruach , by the spirit that lights up with a thousand colors in meditation.
Meditation connects all the energy vortices of our body to the divine, to the supernatural and the air that runs through our veins when we meditate carries the divine spirit through us. He is the light, the spirit, he is the word made flesh. That is why in this work we are going to work a lot on meditation, because meditation is the Hierarchy of the Archangel Shamael, the presence of the Creator, the presence of the divine breath, the presence of the Ruach, the Ruach Kadosh, the Holy Spirit.
