Christmas Eve: the coziest, sparkliest, most rom-com-ready night of the year. Snow is falling, magic is in the air. and literally anything could happen... Alexandra O'Malley, a perpetually grumpy college student, is convinced the universe is personally mocking her love life. Everyone she knows seems to be pairing off like it's a Hallmark movie, while she's stuck in a silent office on a holiday, answering phones and pretending she's not counting the minutes, especially now that her boss has ditched her for a ten-day Caribbean cruise.
Sure, she wants her own happily-ever-after, but first she has to survive the next few hours without losing her mind. At least there's a Christmas party waiting for her, and a dream-date with Roland: charming, brilliant, and the owner of a dangerously sexy British accent. He checks every box. or so it seems. But then come the curveballs, little Christmas "ghosts" of past, present, and future-reminding Alex that love doesn't always show up the way she expects.
