Résumé

The new year . when a young girl's heart turns to new beginnings, weight loss, and a new term of chemistry! New Yorker Gillian Chang returns for her second term at Glory Prep in San Francisco ready to share her faith, dive into her studies, and have fun with her new friends. She may be brilliant-playing half a dozen musical instruments and able to recite the periodic table backward-and ready to take on any challenge, but love is the one test she's never taken. Gillian's falling hard for a junior who's already preparing for his Ph.
D. in physics. She's got his attention-but can she keep it when she's never quite able to measure up and be the perfect girlfriend? She gets that he's under a lot of pressure, but is that a reason to take it out on her? In trying to help, she hides more and more from her friends. So when scandal breaks with Gillian in the middle, even Lissa and Carly wonder where the truth lies . "Adina hit a perfect balance.
Her characters are strong Christians, and their faith is a big part of the story ... but she never really hits you over the head with it. It's just a part of their lives, just like shopping and cute boys are a part of their lives." -Fictionistas.com, on The Fruit of My Lipstick

Biographie de Adina Senft

USA Today bestselling author Adina Senft grew up in a plain house church, where she was often asked by outsiders if she was Amish (the answer was no). She holds a PhD in Creative Writing from Lancaster University in the UK. Adina was the winner of RWA's RITA Award for Best Inspirational Novel in 2005, a finalist for that award in 2006, and was a Christy Award finalist in 2009.  She appeared in the 2016 documentary film Love Between the Covers, is a popular speaker and convention panelist, and has been a guest on many podcasts, including Worldshapers and Realm of Books.
She writes steampunk and cozy mysteries as Shelley Adina; and as Charlotte Henry, writes classic Regency romance. When she's not writing, Adina is usually quilting, sewing historical costumes, or enjoying the garden with her flock of rescued chickens.
