Résumé

Raphael knows he is running out of time. He is running out of time as Commander of the Four Horsemen. He is running out of time to ensure Dante is prepared to take his place as Death. And he is running out of time to stop the theft of one of the Ancients' most powerful relics. While the war between the Hasan and the High Council rages, Mors and Chaos constantly remind him that the stream of golden sands in his hourglass is merely a trickle now. Working for the Hasan as their relic thief isn't exactly the life Grace envisioned for herself.
But she will do what she has to do for the greater good - and to get home. She believes the various claims of a war between the Hasan and an immortal High Council are some fantastical conspiracy until she finds herself face-to-face with the Four Horsemen. Hell bent on getting out of Antiquity, Grace refuses to let the four harbingers derail her plans to heist the Book of The Dead.  Stakes are high as the High Council and the Hasan battle over one of Egypt's most famous relics.
Whoever controls the book, controls the human realm.
Caterina is a storyteller and adventurer. She is passionate about history, music, romance, old languages, legend, and travel. She regularly intertwines these subjects in her writing.  While she is a fan of all history, her historical interests are primarily in the Ancient Mediterranean, Early Europe (Middle Ages through the Renaissance), Al-Andalus, Amazigh History, Islamic Civilization, Cultural Heritage and Heritage Politics. She loves cappuccino, Greek coffee, and a good glass of wine.
Storytelling and transmission of history and tradition through intangible heritage fascinates her. When not traveling or working, Caterina finds time to sing classical music, act, write, paint, make soutache jewelry, and fence. She is always up for trying something new, so the list of hobbies is ever-expanding. A self-proclaimed social media junkie, she enjoys meeting new folks and networking.
