The Feasters

In the dying city of Morvaine, hunger has become worse than death. After years of famine, war, and plague, desperate survivors turn to eating the dead to stay alive. But the black meat changes those who consume it. Sleeplessness becomes madness. Madness becomes hunger. And hunger becomes something monstrous. As entire districts collapse into cannibal violence, pale creatures known as Feasters begin emerging from beneath the city streets.
Some still remember who they once were. Some still speak. All of them are starving. Dain Mercer is pulled into the ruins beneath Morvaine where ancient tunnels, feeding cults, infected children, and buried kingdoms hide a truth far older than humanity itself. Deep below the earth, something colossal is waking, and the endless hunger consuming mankind may not be a disease at all. It is feeding.
