Triton is the son of Poseidon and a merman who left his home in the sea to find his own place in the world. Finding himself in Phantom Creek, Triton joined his friends in opening a mortuary. Not only does Triton transport the deceased in his hearse but, he also builds the coffins the mortuary sells for funerals. However, his work doesn't keep him warm at night, and now that some of his friends have met their mates and settled down, Triton longs for a happily ever after of his own.
Nyx is the god of night and was once Triton's best friend when they were children. However, when Nyx's parents and Triton's parents had a falling out, Nyx and Triton were separated, and never saw each other again. Until certain events lead Nyx to flee his home and search for the one person, he's sure will help him. A happy reunion, an ex with an agenda, and feuding parents are some of the things Triton and Nyx have to get through before they attain their happily ever after.
