Résumé

High in the Misty Mountains, where silver clouds wrap the peaks like soft scarves, lives a young dragon named Zale - an emerald-scaled, bright-hearted little dragon who tries his very best at everything he does. He polishes his horns, swishes his tail proudly, and never forgets his Dragon School homework. But there is one thing Zale simply cannot seem to master: breathing fire. On the morning of the important "Big Smoke Day, " every dragon in class is expected to launch a mighty burst of flames into the sky.
Some dragons produce long, roaring streams of fire. Others create spirals of heat that curl like ribbons. Ignis, the strongest dragon in school, sends a blazing jet all the way up to the drifting clouds, earning cheers from everyone watching. But when Zale steps forward, takes a deep breath, and tries with all his might. something very unexpected happens. Instead of a fierce flame, a single shining bubble floats gently from his mouth, glowing with soft rainbow colors.
Then another. And another. Soon, Zale is surrounded by bubbles that dance in the sunlight - beautiful, yes, but not what a dragon is "supposed" to make. Zale practices every night in his cave, trying to fix what he thinks is a mistake. Yet the harder he tries to make fire, the more bubbles he creates. His cave fills with floating orbs that shimmer like tiny moons, reminding him of the one thing he wishes he could change about himself.
Everything changes the day the Spark-Bees arrive. These ember-bright creatures, buzzing with fiery energy, descend upon Dragon Valley in search of something to burn. Their target: the ancient Silk-Tree, beloved by every dragon for its silver blossoms and glowing threads. The dragons try to protect it the only way they know how - with fire. But the Spark-Bees only grow stronger, feeding on the flames meant to stop them.
As panic spreads through the valley, Zale senses that this is his moment to try - really try - to help. But instead of forcing himself to be like the others, he chooses to be exactly who he is. With a deep breath and a brave heart, he releases the biggest, brightest wave of bubbles he has ever made. The air fills with shimmering spheres that drift toward the Spark-Bees like a sparkling tide. To the surprise of everyone - Zale included - the bees cannot handle bubbles at all.
One by one, they become stuck inside soft, floaty globes, harmless as lanterns in the wind. The breeze carries them safely back to their home, and the Silk-Tree remains untouched. In that moment, the valley learns something important: sometimes, the most unusual gift is the one the world needs most. Ignis, humbled and proud, gives Zale a high-five with his wing and declares that bubbles might be even better than fire.
And for the first time, Zale feels not just different - but wonderfully, uniquely himself. The Dragon Who Breathed Bubbles is a warm, imaginative story about finding courage in difference and discovering the strength that comes from embracing who you truly are. Filled with charm, gentle humor, and magical imagery, it encourages young readers to celebrate their unique abilities, even when they don't fit the usual mold.
Perfect for bedtime reading, classroom discussions, and any child who has ever wondered if being different might actually be something extraordinary.
