Résumé

Mara was born with a voice that could bend the will of men-a Siren's gift, both wondrous and deadly. Once hunted to the edge of extinction, her kind now exists only in whispers and forgotten myths. Forced to live within the shadows of men who would seek to use her power for their own selfish gains, the Siren has nearly forgotten she has a voice of her own-a bird unfamiliar with the tune of her own song.
But all of that is subject to change when she meet Cerberus Kai, more infamously known as the Scarlet Dragon. A figure whose names carries both dread and fascination, a mass murderer with the power of hellflame at his fingertips, and somehow, a man much kinder than any she's ever met. It is under his wing that Mara is forced to confront the truth of what she is and the cost of wielding the power she has learned to fear.
Healing is never easy, however, especially when the Siren often finds herself with more questions than answers. The more she learns about Kai, the more she questions herself, and as memories from her past begin to resurge, so do new monsters.
